Numerical direction indicators simplify the strategy for new players. All short backgammon pieces move in the order shown: Black moves clockwise and white moves counterclockwise. The field for each game is short: on each side of the board there is a track of 12 triangles (points). The points can be numbered from 1 to 24. You control the white pawns, and the opponent controls the black pawns.

The rules of the game of backgammon

The order in which you play the short backgammon depends on the draw. Then, each opponent takes turns rolling dice and moving one or more stones according to the number of points on the dice. For example, in roles 5 and 6 you can:

  • Move the part 11 times;
  • 1 pawn for 5 moves and the second for 6;
  • After pairing, you have the right to walk 4 times.

Play with the mouse: click on the chip you want to move and where you want it to be. Points with 2 or more opposing stones are scored. The strategy of the game is to block access to their ranks and occupy enemy space. If the combination of dice does not allow the broken pawn to be returned, the move is skipped.

Backgammon is a game for two players. The design includes a classic short backgammon, with and without doubling options.

Two people play on a special board consisting of twenty-four narrow triangles called dots. The triangles are grouped into four groups of six triangles each. These groups are called – home, yard, enemy’s house, enemy’s yard. The house and yard are separated by a beam that extends beyond the playing field and is called a beam. Lots of stones – 15 for each player. Points are numbered separately for each player, starting with that player’s house. The farthest point is the 24th point, which is also the first point for the opponent.
